A swimming pool can transform a backyard, but the right design can transform how you experience your entire outdoor space. Luxury pool design is about more than creating a beautiful place to swim.

Pool design trends for 2027 are moving toward more personalized, functional, and integrated outdoor spaces. For Baton Rouge homeowners, that means seeing more complete outdoor living areas, natural pool finishes, wellness-focused features, smaller custom pools, and smarter technology designed to improve efficiency and convenience.

If you’ve ever seen photos of a pool from 100 years ago, you’ll see quite a big difference in their design then versus pool designs today. The style and designs of pools are ever-evolving and changing. From water features, custom options, and equipment upgrades, the pool of your dreams can now literally be the pool of your dreams. With 2021 coming to a close, we are taking a sneak peek at what trends we will see in the coming year.

Have you always wanted a pool but thought your yard was too small? That isn’t the case anymore. In fact, not only can you have the pool of your dreams, even in a limited or restricted space, it can have all of the amenities and features of a larger pool. From water features like fountains to design elements like tanning ledges, in addition to lighting, decking, and more, you can completely transform your yard. Furthermore, smaller pools require less maintenance. This means less skimming, fewer chemicals, and reduced scrubbing and sweeping. So even, if you have plenty of space for a pool, a cocktail pool can be a pleasant, low maintenance option. Here is everything you need to know about cocktail pools!

Have you always wanted a pool in your yard, but thought you just didn’t have enough space to accommodate one?  Maybe you filled that area with a hot tub.  Maybe it remains a landscaped courtyard.  With a custom cocktail pool design you can update and upgrade your small yard with the pool you’ve always wanted.
